We are often asked if we can mount a V-fold pop-up directly into a magazine. In certain rare instances it can be done but by far the best way to do it is to use V-fold pop-up cards as the bound-in inserts/ By making one edge of the card an extra few millimetres longer, the cards will bind-in to a perfect bound magazine or they can be totally redesigned to work as bound-in inserts in magazines with spine stitching.

We will need to know the specifications dictated by your magazine of choice in order to supply exactly what they want. Do not be surprised if the magazine wants samples in order to do a dummy run to make sure that the bound-in inserts do not hamper their tight production schedules.

The cards themselves can be whatever size you like providing they are approved by the magazine publisher but we recommend that you base your ideas around an A5 landscape version which would open to an impressive 420 x 150mm with your pop-up in the centre. The cards are printed in 4 colour process on both sides on 350gsm silk artboard.
