Zippalopes – Custom Made Mailing Packs for Automatic Pop-up Mailers

Many of the promotional products in our range of rubber-band-powered automatic pop-up mailers are supplied with their own custom printed mailing packs. There is often a choice of different styles of pack and one popular mailing pack is called a Zippalope. This product is made and printed on the same sheet as the automatic pop-up product itself. This means that you get to put your own design on the pack which helps to enhance the promotion. The Zippalopes are made in 500micron folding box board and each one is tailor-made to fit the pop-up product. We compress the pop-up and close the Zippalope around it and seal by fastening two overlapping flaps with a strip of double-sided adhesive tape.

We gave the product the name Zippalope because it is essentially an envelope with a zip. The overlapping flaps which formed the seal are both perforated and this is what creates the zip. Once your product has been delivered, your customer will be pleased to see the Zippalope and will be curious to know what lies within. Your customer will turn the Zippalope to the side with the zipper and as soon as the zip is torn open in one swift, easy movement, your promotional product jumps out with a pop.
